Healthy Foods that Pack a Punch!

Fist of fury
The other day, as I was in the process of cleaning clutter, I almost threw out some interesting food and health information found on a card by the “The Cancer Research Society Inc.” (Canada). So, I am in debt to them for their good research which I am passing on to you now. If you have any updated or additional information, please send it to me: <jason@robscooking.com> and I’ll make the necessary corrections. At the end of this article, there’s a link to the Cancer Research Society’s website, as it is such an important health issue to continually learn more about. To think that our eating habits, if carefully monitored with a healthy food choices, can prolong our lives. Wow!
I’m no health food nut, (although there is nothing wrong with that) yet having knowledge of which “specific” foods are more healthy than others, has allowed me to make gradual changes in my own eating habits (ie: eating more berries, oranges, oatmeal, using olive oil, etc.).
So, have a quick read and listen to some advice: Go through this list of foods and choose maybe 3 new/rarely eaten foods that you will challenge yourself to add to the weekly grocery list. See if you can incorporate these 3 healthy foods into your diet over the next 6 months (that’s manageable!) Now go and find these foods and bon appetit!

Time to chop!
